What depression can feel like
Depression can make everyday life feel heavy: low energy, losing interest in what you enjoyed, hopelessness, irritability, trouble concentrating. Sometimes it is obvious. Sometimes it is getting through each day on autopilot, wondering why nothing registers.
-
Why willpower is not enough
Depression is not laziness or a personal failing, and pushing harder rarely fixes it. It changes how you think, how your body feels and how you see your future. It also feeds on isolation, which is why support matters.

How we provide this care
We draw on CBT to untangle thought patterns, ACT to reconnect with your values and EFT to work through the feelings underneath. EMDR helps when the past feeds low mood, and somatic techniques reconnect you with your body. Sessions are available in person in West Valley City or online anywhere in Utah.
