Complex Trauma
Healing from what built up over time

Complex Trauma
Complex trauma therapy, at your pace

What complex trauma is
Complex trauma comes from painful experiences that repeated or went on for years, often starting in childhood. Complex trauma may be a result of neglect, abuse, an unsafe home, or relationships where you could not trust the people closest to you.
-
Why the patterns linger
You adapted to survive so the effects don't stay in the past. They can look like shame, trouble trusting people, feeling numb or on edge, or working hard to keep everyone else happy. None of that means you are broken.
-
How we provide this care
We help you steady first with ACT, DBT, and somatic techniques. Then we process painful memories with EMDR or ART. Sessions are available in person in West Valley City or online anywhere in Utah.
