ABOUT MEGAN

I came to the mental health field after a brief stint pursuing the medical field when I realized I want to be a part of change that leads to inner wellbeing and thriving. I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Utah State University and received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Utah. I have a certification as a clinical yoga practitioner and am trained as an EMDR therapist.

I strive to provide a therapeutic environment that feels safe and supportive. I believe everyone has the potential to grow and my passion is to help clients discover and strengthen their inner resources and power. I have experience working with clients who have experienced trauma, complex trauma, anxiety, OCD, and depression. My approach is eclectic and I pull from different modalities to personalize treatment and support clients. Approaches I utilize include EMDR, ACT, DBT, CBT, and Yoga.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time outside, often hiking or biking. I also love reading, tv, yoga and spending time with loved ones.

ABOUT LEANNA

I have a deep ardor for helping others and I have always sought to make a positive impact. This passion inspired me to embark on the journey of becoming a therapist.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Wyoming and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Chadron State College, both of which have provided me with a strong foundation in psychological theory and practice. Additionally, I have specialized training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with a strong foundation in the psychodynamic approach because it allows me to address both the present moment challenges and the deeper, underlying issues that may be influencing a clients thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. ACT provides powerful tools for cultivating psychological flexibility and living in alignment with values, while the psychodynamic approach helps uncover unconscious patterns and past experiences that shape a person’s current struggles, offering a holistic and comprehensive framework for healing and growth. Together, these approaches guide clients in making lasting changes, fostering emotional resilience, and creating a life of greater purpose and fulfillment while understanding the motivation that drives us forward.

I have clinical expertise in working with adults challenged with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder(s), other mood disorders, disordered eating, LGBTQ+ issues, and various life challenges. I am dedicated to helping clients navigate these complex struggles by offering a compassionate, nonjudgmental space for exploration and growth.

Outside of my work as a therapist, I’m a lifelong learner, an avid reader, and a Star Wars enthusiast. I enjoy spending time outdoors, particularly hiking in the mountains of Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico with my husband. I also love yoga, golf, and spending time with my Bernese Mountain Dogs, who bring constant companionship and joy to my life.

If you’re ready to take the next step toward healing and personal growth, I would be honored to support you in that journey. Together, we can build a path to a life filled with meaning, joy, and authenticity.

ABOUT KATIE

I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy. The ability to talk to an objective and supportive person who isn’t attached to your everyday life has value because they can help guide you through your life and offer perspective in areas that maybe weren’t clear to you. I hold the belief that seeking help from therapy is just like getting help with your broken car. Sure, you could probably watch a YouTube video on how to fix the car, but why not take it to an expert who is trained on how to fix cars. The same thing goes for mental health. Life has so many ups and downs, so why not seek help from someone who is trained to help people navigate that journey. I enjoy working with people while they are on their journeys and find joy in supporting people finding their self-love, working through traumatic hardships, learning how to cope with future struggles, and seeing that, with the right skill sets, you can overcome anything.

On my journey to improve my mental health, I have found various things that have really helped me. I value myself and the boundaries I need to maintain my happiness. I have recognized that things that seem hard to say to others are often the things I need to say to protect myself from being hurt. I have made sure to surround myself with people who love and support me. There isn’t growth in the comfort zone; that’s why I always strive to be vulnerable because I know it will benefit me in the long run. Working on my physical health has also helped me maintain positive mental health. I have seen that as I am mindful of the foods I eat and the movement I provide my body, I am able to show myself self-love. Above all else, I have learned that if I can love and accept myself, I will always be able to keep learning and growing to be my best self. With all that being said, I also have to have fun in life, or all this work for betterment is for nothing. This life is meant for joy, and I believe we all deserve that!

I love surrounding myself with people and trying new things. I have found that I am passionate about things that my friends and family love and seeing the joy it provides them. I love binge-watching TV, playing intense games, working out in the gym, and finding fun places to eat. I have an itch to travel the world and hope to be able to continue to see the beauty this world has to offer.
